My name is Dr. Howard Gurr and I am a psychologist on Long Island, New York.  I have been practicing for over 35 years.  I am one of the few local psychologists using Virtual Reality Therapy in a clinical practice. As a result, there are few peers with whom I can share my experiences with or from whom I can learn. I have also had many referrals from people outside my licensing region for whom I could not provide services. Since I could not easily locate therapists who could meet their needs, I thought this website could become a valuable resource for patients and therapists alike. Besides helping prospective patients locate therapists who utilize Virtual Reality Therapy, it would also give us the links to enable us to communicate with one another and share our experiences to help one another grow our skills and techniques.
