Why Was This Site Created?

I am Dr. Howard Gurr, a psychologist on Long Island, New York. I created this site to develop an international directory of therapists who utilize Virtual Reality Exposure Therapy (VRET) in their practices. I do not receive any financial support from any other entities.

What is the purpose of this site?

Providers who have made the decision to freely offer their information do so to help foster communication between therapists, promote the use of VRET, and announce their availability to prospective clients who could benefit from VRET. We provide a login and password to therapists who register their practices on this site. They can independently modify or delete their information as they see fit. Dr. Howard Gurr will make every effort to ensure these providers are legitimately representing themselves; however, since these therapists may be practicing anywhere in the world, it is not possible to guarantee their credentials and licensure. I would recommend prospective clients do their own due diligence before connecting with any therapist listed on this site to make sure they are properly credentialed in their jurisdiction.
