I am a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY34366) in the state of California who provides individual psychotherapy to adults. In addition to working in private practice, I work as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, where I provide psychotherapy to patients, supervise trainees, and conduct research on the use of virtual reality in the treatment of mental health disorders.
I approach therapy with a blend of compassion, evidence-based practices, and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life. I draw from a range of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), tailoring each session to meet your individual needs.
When working with me, you can expect a collaborative and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship. I strive to meet you where you are and support you in finding your path forward. Together, we will explore the issues you’re facing, identify your strengths, and develop strategies to help you thrive. Whether it’s through traditional therapy or using VR as an enhancement, my commitment is to help you feel better equipped to handle life’s challenges.
